Urgent Causes

FAQ

Who are we?

The Purple Skills Klinic Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a range of skills based trained to the unemployed Youth across Uganda in aide to provide them with the necessary skills to become self employed professionals.

How do you make sure my gifts to The Skills Klinic Foundation are spent wisely?

We have a large team of supporters and an independent governing body that monitors and audits all donations that come through and helps with the allocation of funds to various causes within our training programs according to the demand and other funds are used to maintain our workshop facilities and sessions.

How do you know which Unemployed Youth Groups need help?

When you visit our training programs / causes page, you can choose which training program you would like to support and we reach out without prejudice to all unemployed youths interested within that skills set demographic and we train them to the point or self employment.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

– If you’re in the U.S. or Europe, yes, you can.

Where does my money actually go?

All donations are used to improve services and expand our reach across the country. Your support also helps us gain access to more equipment used in our training sessions as well as expansions in our training programs and demographics across the country.

How do you choose locations to build a workshop center?

While Youth Unemployment is rising across the country, we carefully chose locations with the greatest unemployment rates  especially in urban centres across the country and we carefully assess the demand and cost of access to local resources before setting up a workshop centre within that location.

What percentage of my donation goes towards programs?

100% of your donations are spent towards your desired cause or skills training program. We also provide regular monthly or annual updates to all our supporters of the progress within their supported groups and provide an overview of how many Youths your support has been able to help.

What’s your goal?

Our goal is to reduce Youth unemployment across urban areas within Uganda by 70% within the next 5 to 10 years through our skilling programs.
